Steve Devaux founded Analytic Project Management in 1992. A former project manager of corporate training (Citicorp, Fidelity
Investments, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston), he has spent 12 years consulting with Fortune 500 clients, teaching project management seminars, mentoring project teams, and implementing project management processes.
Industries with which he has worked include aerospace, manufacturing, utilities, software development and systems integration, pharmaceutical and medical device development, publishing, and academic research.
Specific corporations include Ford Motor Company, Texas Instruments, Stratus Computer, Mallinckrodt Inc., Respironics, American Power Conversion, John Hancock, Illinois Power Company, Nortel, Allied Signal, Rockwell
International, Mattel, and 3Com.Steve is the author of Total Project Control: A Manager's Guide to
Integrated Project Planning, Measuring and Tracking, published by John Wiley & Sons in May 1999. He teaches project management at Bentley
College's Center for Executive & Professional Education. A member and frequent speaker for the Project Management Institute, he is also a presenter at
ProjectWorld Boston 2000 on the topic Total Project Control: New Metrics for Maximizing Portfolio Profits
. In addition, APM's Total Project Control methodology has been selected by the Project Management Institute as the subject of a four-day
seminar as part of their PMI Seminars 2000 series.Steve is an
