APM recognizes that some corporations with large training departments may wish to generate the savings that come from utilizing inhouse trainers. APM supports this approach by providing licensing arrangements so that clients can teach APM courses as often as they wish, while using APM-trained and certified instructors.

To this end, APM will contract to conduct intensive train-the-trainer sessions leading to the certification of client personnel. These sessions cover general teaching techniques, APM-proprietary materials and approaches, as well as specific educational methods for use in the course being taught. They provide a scripted instructor guide, a point-by-point analysis of each detail of the course, solutions to each exercise, and practice in team teaching the course to a "live" audience. Finally, the process provides for preliminary certification that allows the instructor-in-training to deliver the complete course with an APM instructor in attendance.
